INGREDIENTS

Lemon Poppy Seed Loaf

1½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour

1 tbsp poppy seeds

1½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tbsp lemon zest

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup (120ml) buttermilk or yogurt

Lemon Glaze

1 cup (120g) powdered sugar

1½–2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Topping (Optional)

Lemon slices

Extra poppy seeds
