– 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
– 2 cups beef broth
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
