Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into thin cutlets or bite-sized pieces)

1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
1 tbsp (14g) butter
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp (28g) butter
8 oz (225g) mushrooms (sliced, cremini or white button work best)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup (120ml) chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
1 tbsp (5g) chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
For the Pasta:
8 oz (225g) fettuccine or penne pasta
