Once the week of maceration is over, it’s time to mix the alcohol with the sugar syrup.
We filter the lemon slices to separate them from the alcohol, then add the syrup to the mixture.
Stir with a wooden spatula to ensure an even distribution of the flavor.
Step 5: Final rest
Once we have mixed the alcohol and the syrup, we pour our preparation into a large container and let it rest in a cool, dark place for at least two weeks.
In the meantime, our limoncello acquires its unique flavor and becomes an exquisite drink full of freshness and charm.
