8 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry, optional)
1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)
Optional: 1 tsp black bean sauce for extra flavor
