  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans, or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the graham cracker crumbs.
  7. Divide the batter evenly between the three prepared cake pans and smooth the tops.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

2. Prepare the Marshmallow Frosting:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth.
  2. Add the marshmallow fluff and continue beating until combined.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until smooth.
  4. Add the heavy cream to achieve the desired consistency, and beat until light and fluffy.

3. Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:

  1. Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let it sit for a few minutes.
  4. Stir the mixture until smooth, then add the butter for extra shine and richness.
  5. Let the ganache cool to room temperature before using.

4. Assemble the Cake:

  1. Place one layer of the graham cracker cake on a serving platter or cake stand.
  2. Spread a generous layer of marshmallow frosting over the cake.
  3. Place the second cake layer on top and repeat with another layer of marshmallow frosting.
  4. Top with the third cake layer and spread the remaining marshmallow frosting over the top and sides of the cake.
  5. Drizzle the cooled chocolate ganache over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.

5. Garnish and Serve:

  1. Toast mini marshmallows using a kitchen torch or under the broiler until golden brown. Be careful not to burn them.
  2. Arrange the toasted marshmallows on top of the cake for a fun, campfire-inspired look.
  3. Sprinkle crushed graham crackers around the base of the cake for added crunch and decoration.
  4. Optional: Add chunks of chocolate bars on top for extra chocolatey goodness.
