  • Top with the second brownie layer, pressing gently to sandwich everything together.

4. Make the Frosting (Optional):

  • In a bowl, beat the softened butter until smooth.
  • Add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream, and beat until fluffy and spreadable. You can add more heavy cream if the frosting is too thick.
  • Spread a thin layer of frosting over the top and sides of the cake.

5. Decorate:

  • Sprinkle extra mini chocolate chips on top of the frosting and add cookie dough balls for extra decoration and flavor.

6. Serve:

  • Chill the cake for 30 minutes to allow the layers to set before slicing and serving.
