Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers (or digestive biscuits)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1 1/2 cups Twix bars, chopped into small pieces (reserve some for topping)
For the Topping:
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)
- 1/2 cup chopped Twix bars
Instructions:
1. Make the Crust
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined and the crumbs are coated.
- Press the crust mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or pie dish, making an even layer. Use the back of a spoon to press it down firmly.
- Refrigerate the crust for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
2. Make the Cheesecake Filling
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and beat again until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. You can do this using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
- Stir in the caramel sauce and chopped Twix bars (reserve some chopped Twix for topping).
3. Assemble the Cheesecake
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled crust and smooth it into an even layer with a spatula.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results, to allow it to set.
4. Top the Cheesecake
- Before serving, drizzle the cheesecake with caramel sauce and sprinkle the remaining chopped Twix bars on top for decoration.
5. Serve
- Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy this creamy, crunchy Twix cheesecake!
