Black Forest Cheesecake Delight is a decadent dessert that combines the classic flavors of a Black Forest cake chocolate, cherries, and whipped cream with the creamy richness of cheesecake. Here’s how you can make this indulgent treat:

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (like Oreo or graham crackers with cocoa)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks

For the Chocolate Layer:

  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

For the Cherry Topping:

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
  • Fresh cherries (optional, for garnish)

For the Whipped Cream Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Optional Garnishes:

  • Chocolate shavings
  • Fresh cherries
  • Grated chocolate or cocoa powder dust

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust
    • Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan or serving dish. Chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Layer
    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
    • Gently fold in the whipped heavy cream. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Refrigerate to set for at least 1 hour.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Layer
    • Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until warm (not boiling).
    • Pour the warm cream over the melted chocolate and whisk until smooth. Let cool slightly.
    • Pour the chocolate mixture over the cheesecake layer and smooth it out evenly. Chill again until firm.
  4. Add the Cherry Topping
    • Once the chocolate layer is set, spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the top. Reserve some cherries for garnish if desired.
  5. Finish with Whipped Cream
    • Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Pipe or spread the whipped cream decoratively over the cherry layer.
  6. Garnish and Serve
    • Add fresh cherries, chocolate shavings, or a dusting of cocoa powder on top.
    • Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results. Slice and serve cold.

Enjoy your rich, creamy, and chocolatey Black Forest Cheesecake Delight!
