Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (plus more for frying)
- 2 cups finely shredded cabbage
- 1 cup grated carrot
- ½ cup bean sprouts (optional)
- ½ cup finely sliced mushrooms (shiitake or button)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for sealing)
- 12–15 spring roll wrappers (store-bought or homemade)
