  • 3 pieces canned pineapple, chopped
  • 200g (7 oz) potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 150g (5.3 oz) cheese, grated
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 20g (0.7 oz) butter, for greasing
