This indulgent triple bacon cheeseburger is loaded with smoky, crispy bacon, juicy beef patties, and melty cheese. Perfect for satisfying even the biggest appetites!
Ingredients:
For the Patties:
- 1.5 lbs ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Bacon:
- 12 strips of bacon (crispy is best)
For Assembly:
- 3 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 3 brioche or sesame seed burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles (optional)
- Red onion slices (optional)
- Ketchup, mustard, or mayo
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Bacon
- In a large skillet or on a griddle, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and set aside.
2. Make the Burger Patties
- Divide the ground beef into three equal portions and form into patties about 4 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick.
- Season both sides of the patties with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Cook the Patties
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet or grill briefly to melt the cheese.
4. Toast the Buns
- Spread a thin layer of butter on the cut sides of the buns. Toast on a skillet or griddle until golden brown.
5. Assemble the Burger
- Spread your choice of condiments (ketchup, mayo, mustard, etc.) on the bottom bun.
- Layer with lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices if desired.
- Add the first beef patty, followed by 4 slices of bacon.
- Place the second patty on top, add another 4 slices of bacon, then the third patty.
- Finish with the last 4 slices of bacon and any remaining condiments.
- Top with the toasted bun lid.
6. Serve and Enjoy
- Serve with fries, onion rings, or a simple side salad.
