Introduction
These baked garlic Parmesan fries are a delicious, healthier alternative to deep-fried versions. Infused with garlic, thyme, and a touch of Parmesan, they’re crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and bursting with flavor—perfect as a side or a snack.
Ingredients
4 medium russet potatoes (cut into fries)
¼ cup olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon seasoned salt (optional)
⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
How to Make
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare potatoes: Scrub and cut into fries. Soak in water for 30 minutes to remove starch (optional for extra crispiness), then pat dry.
Flavor coating: In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, and seasoned salt. Toss fries in the mixture until well coated.
Bake: Spread fries in a single layer on the tray. Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
Add Parmesan: Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the hot fries and toss gently. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Serve immediately with your favorite dip!
