Directions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Dough Base: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and spread it out on the prepared baking sheet. Pinch the seams together to form a solid sheet.
Make the Filling: In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy. Spread the mixture evenly over the crescent dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
Add the Top Layer: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it over the cream cheese filling. Pinch the seams together and gently press the edges to seal.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and puffed. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Drizzle and Serve: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled danish. Slice into squares or rectangles and serve warm or at room temperature.
