1/2 cup heavy cream
8 ounces crab meat, drained and flaked
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
Stir in the melted butter, cheddar cheese, eggs, and heavy cream until a dough forms.
Gently fold in the crab meat and parsley, being careful not to break up the crab too much.
Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 8 equal-sized biscuits.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeños to the dough. If you have picky eaters, you can omit the crab and make plain cheddar biscuits, which are still delicious. For a dairy-free option, substitute the cheddar cheese with a dairy-free alternative and use coconut cream instead of heavy cream. You can also experiment with different herbs, such as dill or chives, to change up the flavor profile.
