- Rub the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, chopped garlic, and caraway seeds.
- Heat the oil in a large, ovenproof pot and sear the meat on all sides until golden brown.
- Add the sliced onions and sear for a few minutes until softened.
- Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer.
