Classic Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients:

Chicken – 1 kg (bone-in preferred)

Oil – 5 to 6 tbsp

Onions – 4 large, finely sliced

Tomatoes – 3 large, finely chopped

Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp

Green chilies – 3 to 4, slit

Curd (yogurt) – ½ cup, whisked

Coriander powder – 1 tbsp

Red chili powder – 1½ tsp (adjust to taste)

Turmeric powder – ¾ tsp

Garam masala – 1½ tsp

Salt – to taste

Water – 1 to 1½ cups (for gravy)

Fresh coriander leaves – chopped, for garnish
