Prepare the chicken: Thinly slice the chicken breast on a cutting board. This allows for quick and even cooking while keeping the meat tender.
Make the marinade: Place the chicken in a bowl and add the paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, melted butter, oil, and orange juice. Mix well to ensure the chicken is evenly coated. Let the mixture marinate for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Prepare the skewers: Thread the marinated chicken slices onto two skewers. About 7 to 8 chicken slices should be placed on each skewer. Repeat this step until all the chicken slices are skewered.
Baking: Place the skewers on a narrow baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching each other too much. Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, carefully turn the skewers over and bake for another 10 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Garlic-parsley butter: Meanwhile, combine the chopped garlic, chopped parsley, and melted butter in a small bowl. Brush this mixture onto the chicken skewers after baking for extra flavor.
Serving: Remove the finished skewers from the oven and immediately brush with the garlic-parsley butter. The skewers are now ready to serve. These chicken skewers are not only a feast for the palate, but also a highlight of any barbecue or family dinner. They are easy to prepare and offer a wonderful combination of flavorful chicken and a delicious, aromatic marinade.
