Chocolate lovers, STOP scrolling!

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tbsp powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

For the ganache:

1/2 cup heavy cream

100g dark chocolate chopped

Topping:

Dark chocolate shavings

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F 175C and grease a muffin tin.

2. In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

4. Alternate adding the dry ingredients and buttermilk to the butter mixture. Mix in hot water last until smooth.

5. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full and bake for 1822 mins. Let cool completely.

6. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.

7. Make ganache: Heat cream to simmer, pour over chopped chocolate, wait 1 min, then stir until smooth.

8. Assemble: Top each cake with a dollop of whipped cream, pour over ganache, and sprinkle chocolate shavings.

TIP: Chill before serving for an even fudgier bite!
