Ingredients
8 ounces (1/2 1 lb box) fettuccine or spaghetti
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
16 ounces sour cream, room temperature
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
1/4 teaspoon ground paprika
Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 8×8 baking dish with baking spray, set aside.
2. Cook the pasta according to package directions until they are al dente, about 12 to 14 minutes.
3. Drain the pasta, and put it back into the pot, putting the pot back on the burner you just used.
4. Add cream cheese and butter, stirring until both cream cheese and butter until both are melted.
5. Stir in sour cream, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, nutmeg, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
6. Pour the noodles into the prepared baking dish and cover the top of the dish with the remaining cheese. Sprinkle on the paprika.
7. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until the top cheese is melted and the noodles are hot and bubbly. Serve warm and enjoy!
