Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté until softened and fragrant.

Slowly whisk in the cream or milk, ensuring no lumps form. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens into a creamy sauce.
