3 quarts water
1/3 cup baking soda
Oil or melted plant-based butter for brushing
Coarse pretzel salt
2 tablespoons plant-based butter for the sauce
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour for the sauce
1 cup plain, unsweetened rice milk
3/4 cup shreds of vegan cheddar cheese
1/4 cup vegetable broth
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt for the sauce
