Instructions:

Prepare the Rice Krispie Layer (5 minutes):
In a large pot, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.
Once the butter is melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
Press the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish using a spatula or wax paper to press it down firmly.
Allow the Rice Krispie layer to cool and harden at room temperature.
Make the Banana Pudding Layer (3 minutes):
In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant banana pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes, until it thickens.
Gently fold in the sliced bananas.
Assemble and Chill (2 hours):
Once the Rice Krispie layer has fully cooled and hardened, evenly spread the banana pudding mixture on top.
If desired, top with whipped cream for extra indulgence.
Cover the baking dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or ideally 2 hours, until the pudding layer is set.
