Here’s a refreshing and nostalgic recipe for Frozen Fruit Salad—a creamy, sweet, and fruity dish that’s perfect for summer picnics, holiday dinners, or as a cool treat on a warm day! 

Frozen Fruit Salad 

Ingredients 

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained 
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries 
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved 
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped 
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges, drained 
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional) 
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped (or 1 container Cool Whip) 
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut (optional, for topping) 

Instructions 

1. Prepare the Creamy Base 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

2. Combine the Fruits 

  1. Gently fold in the crushed pineapple, chopped strawberries, grapes, maraschino cherries, and mandarin oranges.
  2. If using, stir in the chopped pecans for an extra crunch.

3. Add the Whipped Cream 

  1. Carefully fold the whipped cream (or Cool Whip) into the fruit mixture until evenly combined.
  2. Be gentle to maintain the fluffy texture.

4. Freeze the Salad 

  1. Spoon the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish, individual molds, or muffin cups lined with cupcake liners for easy serving.
  2. Sprinkle with shredded coconut if desired.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 4–6 hours, or until firm.
