Combine everything
Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients (crushed cookies and peanuts). Stir well until a uniform dough forms.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and set aside.
Add the chocolate
Chop 100 g (3.5 oz) of dark chocolate and melt it in a double boiler until smooth and creamy.
Mix the melted chocolate into one of the reserved portions of dough.
Assemble the layers
In the prepared pan, spread the chocolate dough, pressing to level the surface.
Add the plain dough on top of this layer, pressing again to level.
Finish with the topping
Chop the remaining 100 g (3.5 oz) of dark chocolate and melt it in a double boiler with 2 tablespoons of oil, stirring until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate over the layers in the pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Chill and cut
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, until the treats harden.
After this time, remove from the pan, take off the parchment paper, and cut to the desired size.
Tips for Innovation
- Vary the flavors: Add dried fruits, nuts, spices, or chocolate chips to the mixture.
- Decorate: Finish with shredded coconut, fresh fruits, or chocolate shavings for a special touch.
- Customize: Try replacing peanuts with cashews or hazelnuts for an even more sophisticated version.
