Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.
  2. Drain the pasta and toss it with olive oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Meats

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage, breaking them apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
