Ingredients
To make a nutrient-packed pineapple juice, you’ll need:
- 1 fresh pineapple (ripe)
- 1–2 cups of water or coconut water (optional, for dilution)
- Juice of 1 lemon (optional, for added flavor)
- A few mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
- Ice cubes (optional, for serving)
Step 1: Choose a Ripe Pineapple
- Look for a pineapple with a sweet aroma and slightly soft skin.
- The color should be golden yellow at the base, indicating ripeness.
Step 2: Prep the Pineapple
- Wash the Pineapple
Rinse the pineapple under running water to remove dirt or debris. - Peel and Core
Use a sharp knife to remove the skin and eyes. Cut out the core, which can be fibrous and hard to blend. - Chop into Pieces
Cut the pineapple flesh into small chunks for easier blending.
